Central Park Hoodie!

Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time. I've been busy with life stuff lately, and have kinda neglected the blog. Bad blogger, no cookie! I haven't stopped knitting though, and I have several FO to show you!

First off, this post is about my beloved best new sweater, the Central Park Hoodie, from Knitscene, the Fall 2006 Issue.

I've been knitting on this sweater for a bit. It's been thisclose to being finished for awhile, all it needed were to have me find buttons, and knit the button band.

It's knit in Peace Fleece, using Addi US 6 for ribbing and US 8 for the body of the sweater. The Peace Fleece is a bit rough when it's being knitted up, but softens after washing. I didn't end up using all the yarn I purchased for this sweater--I think I still have 3 skeins left!

I love how this sweater turned out. It fits nicely, is toasty warm, and looks good too!

Decided to keep the hood plain, no cable running up the back.

Yay! Finished!

Thanks to Bernie for taking these photos, it's his first of many FO shots, I think. :)

Lucy in the Sky

Lucy in the Sky, originally uploaded by eksrn2002.

I've got an action shot that wasn't taken in my apartment! I wore my sweater this weekend at a (car) rally in Eastern, WA, as the temperatures have DROPPED here in WA. It kept me nice and toasty warm. :)

Sock FO next post. :)
